Conformity of Production (CoP)

Conformity of Production is the evidence that every vehicle or component leaving your production line matches, exactly, the type that was originally tested and approved. It's a mandatory requirement alongside type approval itself — manufacturers must hold CoP clearance directly with VCA before a full GB or UKNI Type Approval can be granted, and clearance is valid for three years before it needs renewing.
